LOL ) check out my myspace page... the button's on the right over there... ;)I suppose first questions, first. I always get asked WHY the pig? Well, pigs are in some cultures sacred. In some cultures they are symbols of wealth (even the Chinese horoscope says pigs are rich - nope, I'm a horse). But I just simply wanted something funny and memorable! Who could forget this name??? Better than how-to-learn-how-to-make-money-online or some long winded crappy name huh??? Well, GoSnorky.com started a couple of years ago when I sold off a bunch of sites that had been doing well in Yahoo! and Google since 1997, until I got the Google Slap. (I am a self-taught webdesigner and developer.) What that meant to me was that all of my sites that were doing well for 9 years disappeared! We all loved Google for a while up until a few of years ago. Traffic from Google was great and it was free. Google was getting twelve times the amount of traffic that Yahoo was getting. That did not mean that traffic from Yahoo was not good or not worth anything. It was! All of my sites had front-page listings on both Yahoo! And Google. Then it came. The Google Slap as it’s now known. Loads of businesses disappeared from the rankings literally overnight. People were going OUT of business. Google gave no notice or warnings of their changes. Nada, Zippo, Zilch! Google had changed their search algorithm and banned sites with pages stuffed full of keywords. Spamming the search engines as it’s called. They were to blame however. They had no quality control to begin with. Everyone was doing it. You had to, to keep up with your competitors, or you were lost! People had spent lots of time and money building and promoting their websites and doing SEO (search engine optimisation), which was a moderate task and is now a huge task! Ten times the amount of work these days since Google slapped us! Unfortunately, to this day, Google still does not notify webmasters of changes until it's done. They're not great at informing us... ;) So, since all of that...I decided to heavily invest my time in learning all about internet marketing. The reason of course is that it's the biggest medium for an instant global market or audience - and the next 10 years online, huge fortunes will be made... You can get your message out quickly and have massive amounts of people respond providing you know how to source your traffic. The internet is a giant network of companies, shops and fleamarkets all waiting to offer you a product. If you have a product or information product that is of value, you can do extremely well! But don't bother trying to sell crap - people/online shoppers are too savvy... ;) So I have been involved in network marketing, affiliate marketing and email marketing ever since.
